Dr. Rand Ghazala
Dr. Ghazala completed her Bachelors in Science degree in psychology at McGill University. Her interest in Public Health encouraged her to obtain a Bachelors in Health Studies from York University where she graduated coma sum Laude. She subsequently received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University and went on to complete her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Ghazala is a fellow at the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Ghazala’s research focused on the effects of oral conscious sedation in pediatric patients receiving dental treatment. She is a strong believer that every child and family are unique and that it is important for the child, family and dentist to work together as a team. Dr. Ghazala values preventative dentistry and early intervention.
While not at work, Dr. Ghazala enjoys spending time with family, traveling and trying out new restaurants and cuisines (if you have any food recommendations, please let her know). She has lived in multiple cities and countries and is always looking for an adventure. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
