Dr. Rachelle Cohen

Dr. Cohen is one of a select few specialist who are dual trained in both Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics giving her a unique and progressive outlook towards early preventative treatment.

After graduating with honours from the University of Western Ontario where she received her Bachelor of Science she continued her studies at the University of Toronto where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then furthered her studies by completing a General Practice Residency at the prestigious Mont Sinai Hospital. She then completed her first specialty degree in the field of Pediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester Medical Centre, and her second specialty degree in the field of Orthodontics at New York University.

Dr. Cohen has held teaching positions at New York Unviersity as a course director and is currently a clinical instructor to the graduate students at the Univeristy of Toronto department of Pediatric Dentistry, focusing on behavioural management. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and is a member of both the Canadian and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Canadian Association of Orthodontists.

When Dr. Cohen is not practicing Pediatric dentistry she spends her time furthering her knowledge in the field of early preventative treatment through joint multi-specialty programs as she has unique access to knowledge and continuing education from both specialties.
