Dr. Alison Kliman

Dr. Kliman is one of few dentists who through additional training, paired with her passion for early preventative treatment, has limited her practice to exclusively treating children.

After graduating with distinction from an honours degree program in Science and Psychology at Western University, Dr. Kliman continued her studies at Western University of Ontario where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then practiced for two years throughout the Greater Toronto Area where she gained invaluable experience in regards to multi-specialty comprehensive early preventative treatment.

After deciding to follow her passion and limit her practice to exclusively treat children, Dr. Kliman furthered her pediatric education and training. She completed a one year residency at the Hospital for Sick Kids. There she received specific training in behaviour management, management of severe dental trauma, treatment of medically complex children and treatment of children with special needs.

Dr. Kliman is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and Alpha Omega Fraternity.

When Dr. Kliman is not practicing dentistry she spends her time furthering her knowledge in the field through numerous joint multi-specialty conferences. She also spends her time within her own community to promote early preventative dentistry and also helps children receive access to care.
