Dr. Ghazala completed her Bachelor’s in Science degree in psychology at McGill University. Her interest in Public Health led her to obtain a Bachelor’s in Health Studies from York University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She subsequently received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University and went on to complete her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Ghazala is a fellow at the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Ghazala’s research focused on the effects of oral conscious sedation in pediatric patients receiving dental treatment. She is a strong believer that every child and family are unique and that it is important for the child, family, and dentist to work together as a team. Dr. Ghazala values preventive dentistry and early intervention.
While not at work, Dr. Ghazala enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and trying out new restaurants and cuisines (if you have any food recommendations, please let her know). She has lived in multiple cities and countries and is always looking for an adventure. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
